Maidyozarem Gahambar (Day 2/5), Ordibehesht 12. This is the second day of Maidyozarem, one of the six seasonal festivals in the Zoroastrian calendar, observed to mark mid-spring and the warming of the earth. Each gahambar celebrates a stage of creation in Zoroastrian tradition, and Maidyozarem is associated with the growth of plants and the renewal of nature. On this day, Zoroastrians gather for prayers and share traditional foods, emphasizing social unity and gratitude for natural blessings. The observance continues to be held in Zoroastrian communities in Iran and abroad, remaining an important part of their cultural and religious identity.
