Ayathrem Gahambar (Day 1/5), Mehr 26. This is one of the six annual Zoroastrian gahambar festivals, marking the harvest period and the end of agricultural work. Ayathrem Gahambar begins on Mehr 26 and continues for five days. Each gahambar is dedicated to a stage of creation and holds a significant place in Zoroastrian tradition. During this period, Zoroastrians gather for prayers, communal meals, and expressions of gratitude for natural blessings. Ayathrem Gahambar is especially associated with the grain harvest and preparations for winter. The observance remains culturally and ritually important among Zoroastrian communities in Iran and India.
