Arbaeen (40th day after death of Husayn ibn Ali), Safar 20. This day marks the fortieth day after the death of Husayn ibn Ali in the event of Karbala, which took place in the year 61 Hijri. Arbaeen is observed a day of remembrance in the Hijri calendar. On this day, gatherings and commemorations are held in some countries to remember those who died at Karbala.
