Maidyarem Gahambar (Day 2/5), Dey 17. This is the second day of Maidyarem, one of the six seasonal Zoroastrian festivals. Each gahambar marks a stage of creation and a season of the year, with Maidyarem associated with the middle of winter and the coldest period. On this day, Zoroastrians gather for prayers and communal meals, strengthening social and family bonds. These traditions play an important role in preserving Zoroastrian identity and are still observed in some communities in Iran and India.
