Maidyoshahem Gahambar (Day 1/5), Tir 11. This gahambar is one of the six major seasonal festivals in the Zoroastrian calendar, observed to mark the harvest and the middle of the year. Maidyoshahem means "mid-summer," and its first day falls on Tir 11. The festival lasts for five days, with each day featuring its own rituals and ceremonies. During this period, Zoroastrians gather for prayers, communal meals, and expressions of gratitude for natural blessings and social cooperation. Maidyoshahem Gahambar has held an important place in Zoroastrian culture and traditions for centuries and continues to be observed by Zoroastrian communities in Iran and around the world.
